Kathryn Sykes is an Otterbein University alumni, and very thankful to be working on Rest Upon the Wind with such a talented team. Previous works include: Sanguine Theatre Company's Come Back Up, Taksu Theatre Company's The Tempest, the 2nd National Tour of Flashdance the Musical, and Cirque du Soleil's Zumantiy.

 

 

 

David Bengali - Lighting & Projection Designer

Lisa Marie Nevada - Choreographer & Assistant to the Director

nevadaA native of Albuquerque, NM, Lisa Nevada is a curious and invested dance artist. Influenced by modern dance techniques, improvisation, theatre and environmental/social activism, Nevada is interested in developing movement vocabulary that will have a visceral impact on viewers and impart abstract narrative. Her choreography has been commissioned by New Mexico Ballet Company, John Donald Robb Musical Trust, The Vortex Theater, 516 Arts, Tricklock Company and 24 Hours of Art, Albuquerque. In 2014, Nevada was named the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge Performance Artist for her site-specific dance concert Radicles: Rediscovering humankind’s primary roots. Nevada holds an MFA in Dance from the University of New Mexico and is a founding member and co-director of SHIFT Contemporary Dance Collective, as well as choreographer and dancer for lisa nevada dance.

 

Kevin Andre Dickens - Costume Designer

kdKevin Andre Dickens' credits include: Broadway: On A Clear Day, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, American Buffalo, Lion King, Wicked, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Never Gonna Dance), Off Broadway: Baby Hold On, Radio City Music Hall, Fresca & Chocolate, Lyrics from Lockdown, One for My Baby, Bridge To Baraka, American Ballet Theater, Dream Girls Tour, Doo Woop Love, Louis Armstrong “Statch”, National Black Theatre, Harlem Classical Theatre, Bubbling Brown Sugar, Orunmala, Disney on Ice, Mark Morris Ballet, Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey, Red Hot Broadway, New York City Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Black Nativity; Extensive work in Television and Film. Kevin is a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Local 764 Wardrobe Union and studied menswear design, and tailoring at Fashion Institute of Technology, Manhattanville School of Tailors.
